“Amini” showcases 12 poems exclusively from Portuguese authors. From each of the poems I decided to highlight three feelings/emotions, to which I assigned a different colour. Then, I painted the pages using the assigned colours in bigger or smaller amounts, according to the poem’s content.

“Amini” is a book of poems that reflect about the city of Lisbon. It explores the poetic and plastic dimension of colour in order to capture the ambient present in its poems. The book proposes an intellectual experiment of multiple interpretations, through colour and poetry, about what Lisbon is nowadays and what Lisbon once was.“Amini” showcases 12 poems exclusively from Portuguese authors.
